Hold the big red button to talk and let go to stop. One person talks at a time, and everyone sees who's talking. There's also a tap-to-talk mode.
Everyone with the same channel code hears each other, up to 25 people. Tap New code for a hard-to-guess one, then Share to bring friends in.
The Android app and the web app on iPad, iPhone and computers all talk to each other. Audio is passed along live and never recorded.
New in 1.1.0: tap Invite Maple and the Maple AI joins your channel. Start a message with “Maple, …” and she answers out loud for everyone. Tap Remove Maple or say “Maple, you can go now” when you're done.
Honest note: the channel code is the only lock, so use a hard-to-guess code for private chats. On iPad, iPhone and computers you only hear the channel while the page is open on screen. The Android app keeps listening in the background.
